Luce Floor Lamps from The White Company

You’ve got to hand it to The White Company as they found a great niche in selling high quality, stylish furnishings as long as they are based on the colour “white”. Genius. They sell a range of things for the bedroom, bathroom and living room and even now started to go further into the Organic sphere.

One of the items on my wishlist is the Luce floor lamps which are around 80cm tall and look stunning whether on or off. They’d be good in my living room just to the right of my 37 inch plasma screen – that’s for sure.

Anyway, back to the White Company as this was post is supposed to be more about them and their products. In fact they were founded by Christian Rucker back in August 1993 and wanted to find somewhere that fitted between low quality cheap designs and the high end pricey designer end of the market, but could not find anything. Hence they decided to start their own company via mail order and then eventually on to the Internet.

All their products are made exclusively and the collection has expanded into a complete selection of lifestyle pieces with the core range being like bang and oluffson in a way – timeless and impeccably stylish.

Although some signature colour pieces are introduced into the range to add seasonality, the core product range remains in timeless and impeccably stylish white. Products are designed to reflect this enduring elegance and to sit equally well in a contemporary loft apartment or a traditional country cottage. Almost all of The White Company’s products are made exclusively, and over the years the product collection has broadened enormously from just a few key pieces to a complete lifestyle selection.

We Don’t Plan To Fail – We Fail To Plan

Thoses of us that actually manage to set goals often give up at the first setback. They mentally beat themself up by saying “I knew I couldn’t do it, so why did I bother trying” and other such self destructive comments. Constantly telling yourself that you are a failure is only going to be self evident when once again, you fail.

Statistics are every where these days. Covering everything from ‘how much of the world population likes cheese’ to ‘how violence on tv results in more actual violence.’ The statistics concerning successful people and how they do it are not very suprising. They show that only 5% of the world population have written goals. Is it suprising then that only 5% of the same population are considered to be truely successful in life? I think not.

Doesn’t that simply mean that if YOU want to be successful, you have to have written goals? You would obviously have to take action to make thoses goals happen, but without a plan all is lost.

I’ve asked a lot of people about what they want from life. The usual is a big house, loads of money, cars, holidays ect… Or they reply ‘I duno’ and just shrug their shoulders. The people that state roughly what they want have no idea how they are going to ‘get there’, they have no plan and consider their wants to be ‘dreams’, unobtainable and distant. The people that say ‘I duno’, will amble through life going in self defeatist circles. These people are the one’s with the lowest self-esteem, lacking in confidence and feel that life is hopeless.

So, there is only 5% of the population that are successful, that means that a stagering 95% will not live their lives to the fullest. Which presentage am I in? I used to be in the 95%, but now that’s all changed.. I have begun to understand and act in a way that puts me in the top 5%.

It didn’t happen over night, infact it is still very much work in progress. But progress is much better than being static or going backwards. It’s a bit like pushing a broken down car. You take the handbrake off and push with all your might, it’s really hard work, the car starts to slowly roll forward, just a tiny bit, then a bit more, then a little faster. Before you know it you have to jump into the drivers seat and steer the car because it is moving so quickly. So there you are, sitting in the car, moving along without even pushing it. Momentum brought about by inertia.

Establishing your goals and starting to take action is just like trying to move a broken down car, hard work. But momentum kicks in after a while and things move along quicker and with less effort. Before you know it your life has turned around and you’re going full speed ahead. Sounds good dosen’t it, well take it from me, it is better that good, it’s absolutaley amazing.

For those of you that still haven’t quite ‘got a grip’, the message is, think like the top 5% and live your life to the max. Make written goals and plans, if you don’t know where to start, ask someome, search the internet, read a book. Then start to take action and let inertia work for you. Do this and I promise you, you can’t fail. Wouldn’t that make a change!!!

Here’s to your internet success.

8 Reasons Why You Should Choose Inflatable Boats!

When speak about the advantages of inflatable boats, it just can’t be finished within 10 pages. Believe me, inflatable boats just have their unique advantages over those traditional boats. I have shortened and categorized the advantages of inflatable boats into 8 categories, which are:

Advantage No.1: Flexible

As known, the very first advantage of inflatable boats is their flexibility. What I mean here is inflatable boats could be deflated and kept in your private car boot. You can bring inflatable boats with you wherever you go. They just do not need boat trailers or huge truck to be transported.

Besides transportation issue, the convenience of inflatable boats brings no headache to storage issue as well. After being deflated and folded nicely, inflatable boats just size like a stack of clothes.

Whenever you need inflatable boats, you can just take out straight from your car boot. Inflating them with a foot pump just take around 30 minutes (maximum) and if you are using an electric pump, 15 minutes (maximum) is what you need to enjoy boating.

Advantage No.2: Stable

Inflatable boats are built with 2 large buoyancy tubes on the side and a flat floor in between of them. The large size buoyancy tubes provide a low center of gravity for the boats as well. These designs make inflatable boats sit flat on the water surface, making inflatable boats almost impossible to flip over.

For example, 435ps paddle ski from sea eagle give ultimate stability. Comparing with normal paddle canoe, it is mush more stable due to the two separate buoyancy tubes on two different sides. The features of inflatable boats just best suit those who like to stand up fishing and those scuba divers who need to flip backward to the water, as well as pulling up themselves from water.

Advantage No.3: Large Loading Capacity

Due to the designs of large buoyancy tubes, the loading of inflatable boats could be huge. Together with the stable attribution, inflatable boats just could upload a large loading of cargo or person without any unsteadiness.

For example, Sea Eagle 12.6 SR, a runabout boat with exterior dimension 12′6″ x 5′4″ just can be loaded with as much as 6 adults or 1600lbs. Inflatable boats just give a higher loading capacity.

Advantage No.4: Inflatable Boats Light As Air

Although the loading capacity of inflatable boats is huge, that doesn’t mean inflatable boats are heavy. The fabrics that produce inflatable boats are very light in weight.

For Sea Eagle inflatable dinghy, SE 9, it is only weight 38lbs for the boat and 74lbs for boat, floorboard and motor mount(For your info, SE 9 could be loaded with 1200lbs or 5 adults).Using the comparison of as light as air in inflatable boats is no over-exaggerated.

The light weight of inflatable boats makes inflatable boats launch easier. Only 2 adults are needed to carry out the inflatable boat from water after using. The light weight of inflatable boats just makes people love inflatable boats more.

Advantage No.5: All-In-One Function

Inflatable boats are designed for all-in-one purpose. No matter you want to rapid, paddle, sail, row, or even cruise, inflatable boats just can transform into the boat you want.

You might just be inspired by Sea Eagle explorer 380x kayak, which can cut through those rough, class 4 white water. Sail cat 15sc which looks like an inflatable sailing raft just provide you the ultimate all-in-one function. Combining with an electrical trolling motor, an evening cruise just await you outside.

Advantage No.6: Strong And Durable

Many years of enjoyment is what inflatable boats meant to be as an inflatable boat is ready only after a serial of experiments and trials. Inflatable boats could not be pushed to the market without gone through many quality controls.

With those quality controls and the fine materials, inflatable boats are strong and durable. Building with 1000 Denier Reinforced material, Sea Eagle inflatable boats are simply the best. The plastic coated transom in Sea Eagle inflatable boats keeps the transom secure from the damaging effect of water seepage.

Advantage No.7: Economical Boats

Inflatable boats are economical boats. Aside from the lower price of the boat itself, the maintenance fee of inflatable boats is equally low.

Example gas-consuming, as inflatable boats are very light in weight, less power is needed to move the boats. Less power means less gas consuming. Besides, the resale of inflatable boats is easy and with good residual prices as well.

Advantage No.8: 3-Year Warranty And 30 Days On-Water-Trial

On top of these advantages, Sea Eagle just offers 3 years warranty and 30 days on-water-trial for all Sea Eagle inflatable boats.

You can get a full product refund if you are unsatisfied in any way within 30 days from the date of delivery. Use sea eagle inflatable boats on water and ask for refund if you are not satisfied. Besides, 3 year warranty just allows you to send back your inflatable boats for free repair or no-charge replacement. It is indeed secure with sea eagle inflatable boats.

There are actually a lot more advantages of inflatable boats, but I think it’s time for you to find out yourself. Until then it’s your turn to talk about your inflatable boats. :)

The Myth of Black Criminality

In an article that appeared on the Useless Knowledge website August 11th, titled “Correlating Blackness And Criminality In American Cities” the author insinuates that high black crime rates are because of blacks’ predisposition to such behavior. He bases this premise on the correlation between cities having large black populations also having high crime rates. In fact, in his own words he says, “This is absolute proof that there is an infallible correlation between how black a city is and how great its crime rate, at least in the USA.” I found his theory to be simplistic and superficial, but then I wondered, “What if this same level of pseudo-scientific analysis was applied inversely–to whites?”

First let me say that if his theory held true, such numbers would be reflected worldwide. Blacks in America descend from African blacks, so wouldn’t African countries have ridiculously high crime rates?

High inner city crime rates can be blamed on a lot of things, but not a cultural predisposition. Still, this misguided assumption has been bandied about for decades and isn’t necessarily racist. The idea that blacks are more likely to have violent and criminal tendencies, “is one of the most readily invoked contemporary stereotypes about blacks…and unlike racial attitudes toward the principle of equal treatment, there is evidence that the association of blackness and criminality…is deeply embedded in the collective consciousness of Americans, irrespective of the level of prejudice or personal beliefs.” (1)

Using population figures one can assume that the victims of this “black crime wave” be black. FBI data shows that so-called “black on black crime” is no more prevalent than white on white crime. Crimes committed by whites (in the suburbs, rural area or otherwise) tend to have white victims. Why? Because most crimes are committed near the home of the offending party, meaning that those in black communities are more likely to prey on their black neighbors.

So taking the author’s assumptions about race and criminality and applying them inversely, I can conclude that white people are predisposed not only to random acts of violence, but crimes that impact upon large numbers of people and cut across racial lines. For instance, the overwhelming majority of white collar criminals are WHITE. The Enron, Tyco and Dynergy scandals, which not only hoodwinked shareholders, but in some cases looted the pension funds of their employees, were not masterminded by blacks. None of the Keating 7 were black. But these crimes have a much larger impact than that of a black man who holds up a liquor store.

Worse, the Government Accountability Office reports that these white-collar thieves avoid paying hundreds of millions of dollars in restitution. They transfer assets to relatives, give businesses to their minor children and then hire on as a salaried employee, transferring hundreds of thousands of dollars to a trust funds for their minor children, or deeding a home to a relative, then renting it back (all of which constitute fraudanother crime). “The GAO studied five unidentified federal cases in which executives and business owners found guilty of fraud were ordered to pay a total of $568 million to investors and shareholders. Only about $40 million, or 7% of what was owed, was ever collected.” (2) Moreover, 43% of those charged with fraud are never prosecuted(3), so not only do whites commit these crimes, but they get away with them!

Still, some critics argue that white-collar crime sentencing goes overboard because the punishment is stiffer than for some drug crimes and murders. But while the latter are no doubt heinous, white collar crimes can involve hundreds of millions, even billions of dollars. This impacts upon the victims’ present living situationand in the case of Enron, where pensions were losttheir futures.

I know what you’re thinking, such far-reaching cases are rareand on that point I agree. But the majority of financial crimes of a lesser and more common nature (involving banking, computers and identity-theft) are also perpetrated by whites (4).

Now let’s deal with a more common crime-murder: The estimated homicide rate in this country, excluding all those committed by blacks, is over three times higher than the homicide rate for the other six major industrial nations. (5) Therefore, whatever compels white Americans to kill other people, causes blacks to kill at a much higher rate. (6) But on an extreme level, whites make up vast majority of serial and baby killers. Gacy, Bundy, Dennis Rader (The BTK killer), The Green River Killer, et al. Were not black. And in the latter group who can forget Charles Stuart and Susan Smithboth who blamed the deaths of their children on black attackers. And what about Andrea Yates, the Houston woman who drowned her five children? As for other crimes against children, look at the internet pornmeisters and booty bandit, boy rapists in the Catholic church. How many of their faces are black?

And who are these right-wing zealots (terrorists) bombing abortion clinics and murdering doctors for performing a legal act? And wasn’t mad bomber/baby killer Timothy McVeigh white? Weren’t the inventors of the drive-by and other organized crime kingpins white? Who was behind the lynchings of the 19th and 20th centuries? Who commits the majority of hate crimes?

Here’s another crime that is the domain of whitesTREASON. These FBI, CIA and military agents who sell secrets to the Russian and Chinese governments are not black? What about “American Taliban” John Walker Lindh? These are men who will compromise the security of the country for a few dollars.

See how dangerous it is to play with facts?

The author of “Correlating” probably doesn’t, for he wrote, “What I don’t like, however, is being lied to. For decades, I’ve heard people denying, minimizing, justifying and extenuating black criminality.” He then says that poverty is no excuse.

For starters, I have never heard anyone justify criminality on any level. But whether you want to admit it or not, high crime rates can be correlated to high poverty rates. This is not the sole reason for such behavior. You state quite emphatically that “…there is very little real poverty in the United States. Anyone who thinks there is should visit the slums of Cairo, Rio de Janeiro or Bangkok. Then he’ll see what poverty really is.” Compared to what? While poor people in this country may not sleep in mud huts, go days on end without food or potable water, it does not make their poverty less “real”, especially when contrasted with immense American wealth.

White bias of police officers, prosecutors and the courts also play a role in black crime rates, as do character weaknesses (caused by the lack of strong social organization, such as a church), single-parent households and residual effects of slavery (Wilson). Other factors include “the ecological concentration of ghetto poverty, racial segregation, population turnover, and joblessness… the profound changes in the urban structure of minority communities in the 1970s may hold the key to understanding recent increases in violence.” (7)

This article was written for two reasons: (1) To offer some reasons for crime concentration in particular areas, not just the black community. In reality, both the author of “Correlating” and my own argument concerning racial predisposition to criminal behavior can be dismissed. (2) To paraphrase an old saying, sometimes numbers are used in the same way a drunk uses a lamppost: For support rather than illumination. My point being, anyone can crunch numbers to fit their own needs and “validate” a stereotype. This is what I believe the author was guilty of. I wanted to show him that such a knife can cut both ways and is therefore, a very dangerous implement.

Online Poker – Texas Holdem for Beginners

If you are a beginner to poker, Texas Hold’em is the perfect game to learn to play. It is a simple game to learn and understand and it offers the perfect balance of luck and skill.

Online poker practice tables offer the perfect way for new players to play and learn, and there are always experienced poker games support staff observing the tables ready to help with any questions about the game you may have. Most sites offer chat support and all you need to do is click live chat on the poker site at the table, and a member of the poker support staff will be called to assist you.

Texas Hold’em rules

The object of Hold’em is to create the best five-card hand using seven cards. A list of poker hand rankings can be found on most poker sites. Sites like IPNPoker also have an interactive poker tutorial which is good for learning all poker games if you are a beginner.

Once the game starts a dealer is assigned. At the end of each hand the dealer changes to the next player to the current dealers left. Knowing who is the dealer is important, as it indicates who posts the compulsory bets (known as blinds) before each hand, it also indicates who is first to act in each betting round.

In Texas Hold’em there are two compulsory bets that are made before the start of each hand. These are known as the small blind and the big blind. These are important as it means that there are chips to be won in every hand. The player to the immediate left of the dealer pays the small blind and the player to the left of the small blind posts the big blind.

In limit games the small blind is equal to half the size of the small bet, and the big blind is equal to the small bet. So at a $1/$2 table the small blind is 0.50c and the big blind is $1.

In limit games the size of the bet that a player can make in the first and second betting rounds is equal to the amount of the small bet of the table (for example in a $3/$6 limit game, the bet players can make in rounds 1 and 2 is $3). In the third and forth betting rounds, players can bet the value of the big bet (for example in a $3/$6 limit game, players can bet $6 in the third and forth rounds).

There is a maximum of one bet and three raises allowed in each betting round. (For example, in the first betting round of a $1/$2 limit table, a player will pay a maximum of $4 – a bet of $1 and three raises of $1). The exception to this rule is if there are only two players left in the pot, in which case there is no limit to the number of raises that can be made.

Hole cards and the first betting round

Once the blinds have been posted, two cards are dealt face down to each player at the table (known as “hole cards”). At this point the first betting round begins, players must make a decision on how to act based on the strength of their hole cards only.

The player to the left of the large blind is always the first to act in the first betting round. This player has the option of folding, calling, or raising the amount of the large blind. The play continues clockwise around the table until all players who started in the hand have called, checked or folded, and the amount put in the pot by each player still in the hand is equal.

The Flop and the second betting round

After the first betting round has finished, the dealer places 3 cards face up in the middle of the table – this is known as the flop. These 3 cards are shared by all the players towards make their final hands. Players now have 5 cards out of the 7 available and have a good idea how their hand is developing. At this point the second betting round begins.

In this and all subsequent betting rounds, the action starts with the first player still in the hand to the left of the dealer. This player can either check or bet (he can not raise as no bet has been made in the round, and he shouldn’t fold because it costs him nothing at that point to stay in the hand). As in the previous betting round, the play continues clockwise around the table until all players have called, checked or folded and the amount placed in the pot by each player still in the hand is equal.

The Turn and the third betting round

After the second betting round, the dealer places a fourth card face up on the table – this is called the turn card. Like the flop, this is a community card that may be used by all the players to make up part of their hand.

The players should now know the majority of their hand, as there is only one more card to come. The betting round here is the same as the third betting round, with the player to the left of the dealer acting first.

In limit games the size of the bet that a player can make in the third betting round and final betting round is equal the size of the big bet (for example in a $3/$6 limit game, the bet players can make in this round is $6).

The River and the final betting round

After the third betting round, the dealer places a final card face up on the table – this is called the river card. There is a final betting round, which is the same as the third betting round.

After this, each player makes the best possible 5 card poker hand out of the 7 available cards. Each player can use any combination of the 2 cards in their hands and the five cards on the table. The player with the highest ranked hand wins the pot. If two or more players have the same value hand, then the pot is split between them.

And the poker game goes on…

Once the hand has finished, and the pot has been awarded, the dealer button moves to the next player on his left. The cards are shuffled, the blinds are posted by the next two players, and the cards are dealt. The game continues as long as there are at least two players at the table.

First Guitar Lesson – Taking Care of Your Instrument

Taking care of your instrument is not only the first guitar lesson – it should become a regular habit for beginners and experts alike. Apart from ensuring longer life and consistent sound quality, by this practice you also grow a sense of respect for your guitar, an affinity and a bond with the instrument. You come to “know” your guitar better. On the other hand if you tend to neglect your guitar eventually its quality of sound will suffer. The sound quality is as important as the skill of the player.

You may like to consider using a hard shell case for transporting your guitar. The hard case holds the guitar cushioned securely in place so that the instrument does not get bumps and jerks in handling. This not only protects the body of the guitar, it also keeps the guitar tuned for a longer time.

Many people use soft or cloth “gig bag” which can be zipped up. Although such bags protect the instrument from dust, they do not provide mechanical strength to protect the guitar from possible physical damage. These bags do not even protect the tuning nuts which turn during handling and the guitar gets out of tune. To avoid such problems hard shell case of proper size should be used. The hard cases are designed to take the impact while holding the guitar safely, protecting body and neck of the guitar and keeping it in tune.

Another important accessory is a guitar stand. When you are not playing the guitar you should keep it on a guitar stand. It is not a good practice to lean the guitar against the wall. This can warp the neck of the guitar in due course. The warping will increase the distance between the strings and the fingerboard. This will in turn not only affect the quality of sound, you will need to apply more force to play the instrument. Your level of performance will be affected. To avoid such problems the guitar should be placed on a stand or a level surface. It is good idea to cover the guitar when not using it. You can keep the guitar in its hard shell case when not playing it.

The strings exert considerable force on the guitar. There is enough strength designed in the guitar to withstand this force without deforming. However, if strings are tightened too much, it will give additional strain on the guitar. To prevent over-tightening and also for ease of tuning you can have a tuning device for your guitar. With the help of this device you will be able to tune the guitar quickly and accurately.

If you are very serious about protecting your guitar, you should actually tune down your guitar (loosen the strings) when you are not playing it. You can again tune-in when you decide to play next time. I know it will be a botheration to tune the guitar so many times, but it will provide greater protection.

There are some common sense practices. You need to keep your guitar clean. While you clean your instrument, you can also develop a habit of inspecting the body of your guitar and take action quickly. For example, if any of the strings start rusting they should be replaced.

The movement of the tuning nuts should be smooth. At the earliest signs of any jerky movements, the nuts should be set right by proper maintenance.

Care and maintenance of your instrument is an important guitar lesson which should be religiously followed. The better you take care of your guitar, the better output you can expect.

Learn the best sports wagering rule strategies in our online rooms!

Bond together the two of man’s dominant pursuits and you’ve got is a rage we universally call a web based sportsbook. And really, what could be more inventive… Think of a gathering of sports addicts cheering their chosen favorite players, and almost all the time antes will be placed to go with the racket. Wishing to get their piece of the action, bystanders usually attempt to infer who will make it in the approaching meet. All this finally turns into a good-humored meet named web based sportsbook.

In order to place your bet, we would advise you call on a web based sportsbook, i.e. a place which accepts web based sportsbook. In the United States, there’s currently four states where to go for wagering sportsbooks officially, but beyond legal you can try it essentially anywhere assuming that you can find a bookie AND you are a legal adult. Covered track-and-field events you can bet your money on are pro alongside college football + college basketball, pro baseball and hockey, alongside bets on both horse and dog racing. Patrons will have the option of betting on the overall score of a fight or game, at which point a contestant will be knocked out, and even if a tossed coin in a fight or game lands either heads or tails.

We can choose between plenty of different forms of wagers- straight bets, where you have to select the side you’re guessing is the likeliest to win or fail, parlays, teaser wagers plus, to boot, over/under antes, the straight bets, where you simply specify the party which you think is the likeliest to win or lose being the most common in wagering sportsbooks.

So why not check it out and have lots of fun simultaneously… But be sure that you won’t get overpowered and drain your total social security checks on a quirk! Because you’re certain to catch yourself repining for life!

No Dollar, No Client?

You are now a business owner, congratulations! You have everything you need right down to the business plan but one thing is missing. Customers. As you sit in the darkness of your living room at night, you wonder how you can afford to advertise and where.

The next morning you drag out the Yellow Pages looking for a company that specializes in marketing or advertising, make the call and to your dismay the person that you speak to informs you of the prices for their services. They tell you that it will cost from several hundred dollars to as much as 15% of your total business. You have a little bit of money left from the loan that you obtained to get the business up and running, so you agree and set an appointment to meet later in the week.

What is wrong with this scenario? Nothing if you have a lot of money to spend. The problem is that most small business owners have limited budgets to work with and expensive advertising campaigns are simply out of the question. So what is the alternative?

Business-to-Business networking affords the small business owner an opportunity to reach hundreds if not thousands of prospects for very little cost. In fact, the small business owner who finds it easy to talk to others can benefit in a big way from simply getting together with other business people and talking about their business.

Does this sound to good to be true? It is true. This phenomenon called Business Networking has spawned hundreds of networking organizations around the world. Each day, more and more business owners are finding clients and prospects at networking meetings or Chamber of Commerce meetings and spending very little needed cash to do so.

Business networking is easier than cold calling, cheaper than advertising and is the fastest method available to build your business. If you are considering spending money on advertising, consider networking instead, or in conjunction with your advertising campaign. This will give you an opportunity to build the crucial relationships with prospects, converting them into customers that will refer their friends and business associates to you.

You may be told about medical billing businesses software in your classes. Don’t take their word for it, check several out. Ask for a demo of the software. Find one that you are comfortable using and purchase it. However, watch out for companies that promise you clients or say they will find clients for you. This is usually a ploy and never truly works out. You can probably find the clients you will need on your own.

Now that your classes are done, and your office is ready, it is time to start advertising. Talk to your family doctor and let him know about your medical billing jobs. Tell him you are certified and are accepting new clients. Even if your doctor is not interested, he may have a referral or two for you.

You will also want to create a sales letter and brochure announcing the opening of your medical billing businesses. If you don’t feel you can write one on your own, hire someone to write it for you. Check with the local college and see if a business or marketing students would be interested. This helps them and you at the same time for a minimal of the cost of hiring a professional marketing consultant.

Send these medical billing businesses letter to all the doctors in your area, state, country. Medical billing from home can be done anywhere. You are not restricted to one area, but it is best to start in areas close to your home.

Why Invoice Factoring Is Better Than A Business Loan

Are you looking for a business loan? Many business owners who need financing start their financing search by looking for a business loan or a business line of credit. Although business loans and lines of credit are well known products, they are very hard to get. And in reality, few business owners actually manage to get them.

In certain instances, invoice factoring may be a better and easier to obtain alternative. There are three conditions that can determine whether factoring is a better alternative than a business loan:

1. Are your clients’ slow payments hurting you? Do they take up to 60 days to pay?

2. Are you turning away bigger sales because you lack working capital?

3. With the right financing, does your business have significant growth potential?

If you answered yes to these questions, then chances are that factoring your invoices will be better for you than more traditional business financing products. Invoice factoring provides you with financing based on your invoices, eliminating slow payment cycles and providing you with money to pay rent, meet payroll and expand your business.

Since factoring is tied to your sales potential, it does not have the arbitrary use limits that business loans have. The more your business grows, the more financing you qualify for. Period. This makes it an ideal product for businesses that have significant growth potential.

Factoring (or receivable factoring as it is also known) is easy to use. Once you have invoiced your customers you send a copy of the invoice to the factoring company. The factoring company, in turn, advances you up to 90% of your invoice and waits to be paid by your client. Once your client pays the invoice, the transaction is settled.

In effect, by financing your invoices you eliminate the slow payment problem. You accelerate your cash flow, enabling you to pay your obligations, take new opportunities and grow your company.

In terms of cost, factoring is a very competitive product. Factoring fees range from 1.5% to 3% per month, making it an affordable product. If you own a business that is growing and you need financing, be sure to consider invoice factoring.
